Animal Tracks was originally recorded in 2014 and was the debut project for Binbagpig Studios, a studio run by a small collective including several members of Featherteeth. 3 years on, the band decided that a remaster and the addition of extra instruments, including their new bassist Pierat, would greatly benefit the original Binbagpig project.

Brothers, Daz and Rew Brown wrote the songs on this album as a 2 piece following the breakup of their previous band "Cookie Cutter". After a decade of writing and playing as a duo they invited their friend, 'Pierat' Drake to play bass for them.
